I Didn't realize That Incontinence Could Mean Bladder AND Bowels
Christian, 54 years old
I didn't realize that incontinence could mean bladder AND bowels. So I was absolutely mortified when I found out I was ‘double incontinent’. It was horrifying to the extent that it caused me to suffer with depression which I ended up having treatment and therapy for.
I lost contact with friends and colleagues. I became a recluse. I didn't want to speak to anybody. I didn't want anybody to know about this. I just closed the doors around me. I existed at home within deep, dark depression.
When I contacted Attends I didn’t know what to expect, but they gave me just the help I needed. They gave me advice on where to find professional help and offered me different products to try to help manage my incontinence. It is great that I could try the products and could see for myself how reliable and comfortable they are.
What type of support did Attends give me? Friendly, one-to-one advice over the phone to help me understand a bit more about incontinence, hint and tips on managing it, finding the best product to suit my personal preferences and offered me different materials to read on and offline as well.
They've changed my life for the better, forever!
Now, I'm not afraid to go out. I'm not afraid to socialize. I can even work now. Through this continuous support from Attends, I have my life back. Thank you!
